Once you have added the DOT Breath Alcohol Test to your cart and checked out, a notification is sent to our team. They will then go online and schedule your alcohol test using a paperless form at the closest facility to the billing address you entered when checking out. You will then receive an electronic authorization via text &/or email letting you know the event has been scheduled. This authorization will also tell you the location to go to complete the test. You will have ten days to complete the test from the time it is scheduled. Your donor's results will be ready before you leave the collection site.How long does it take?The collection process shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. The results should be back instantly.*Please note that we will send authorization within 24 hours after ordering.The Device?When it comes to alcohol testing, DOT regulations are relatively strict. The device used to detect alcohol use, known as an evidential breath testing device, or EBT must be approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Additionally, the EBT can only be operated by a certified breath alcohol technician.
