The NicQuick test cassette from Alere Toxicology is a disposable
device that will test for the presence of Cotinine in a person’s system via
urine to determine if they have used tobacco within the previous one to three days, depending
on your drug testing policy. The device will detect Cotinine (a substance that
remains in the body fluids after the usage of nicotine) in someone's urine by a cut-off the concentration of a concentration level of 200 ng/mL from cigars, dipping
tobacco, cigarettes, pipe smoking, or chewing. The process is straightforward to perform. Insurance friendly and perfect for
home, school, workplace, or institutional use. NicQuick nicotine test kit has replaced and is comparable to the SmokeCheck test cassette. The NicQuick test kit comes
with 40 tests and 40 disposable droppers. The average shelf life at room
temperature of 12-18 months.
Key Features:
- Accuracy is 99% accurate.

When no line appears in the Test Region (T) but a colored line is displayed in the Control Region (C), the drug test result is POSITIVE. A positive urine test result indicates that the drug, or drugs, in question were detected by the drug test. The positive drug test result might be the start of action against an employee, parolee, student, etc. who abuses illicit substances.
Before a positive result can be ascertained, check to be sure the Control Region (C) is marked with a colored line to indicate the test is valid and non-defective. If there is no colored line marking the Control Region (C), the test is not valid, and the test result may not be accurate.
NOTE: Instant immunoassays are only used for preliminary screening. If a preliminary screening test is positive, the positive test results obtained through instant drug tests should be sent to a SAMHSA-Certified laboratory site for confirmation.
Note: All faint lines, including barely visible ones, should be interpreted as "negative." A major benefit of Instant urine drug tests (i.e. cups and dip cards), as well as mouth swab drug tests, is that they are designed to yield results just a few minutes after a specimen (urine) collection. Tip: Do not read drug test results more than 10 minutes after a sample is collected. After 10 minutes, drug test results may not be accurate.
What is a Panel Drug Test?
A panel drug test kit is used to
test for particular drugs. "Panel" refers to the specific group of
drugs or substances that are included in the test itself.
What is the Average Detection Time?
Cotinine (COT) average detection time in urine is 1 to 10 days.
